This homemade everthing bagel pizza with vegan cream cheese, arugula, tomatoes, bacon, and onions is a unique twist on traditional pizza and everything bagels. It makes for an easy weeknight dinner or a make ahead lunch.

I have a thing for everything bagels. That’s why I made my own everything bagel cream cheese spread

If you’re not familiar with everything bagels, they essentially came into existence when bakeries would top their bagels with…. well, everything. They would take a bit of all of the seasonings in the shop and top the bagel with it. This seasoning mix would usually include sesame, salt, poppy, onion, and garlic. Pretty genius, huh?

We saw an increase in popularity of everything bagels when Trader Joe’s released their famous, customer-favorite Everything but the Bagel Seasoning

I like to top my everything bagels with butter, cream cheese, or my personal favorite, a boatload of hummus. They make bases for delicious breakfast sandwiches with vegan sausage, cheese, tomato, and greens.

So there I was trying to figure out how I could get more of that everything bagel seasoning flavor in my life when the idea for this pizza decided to grace my mind. The everything bagel pizza was born.

Behold! Not just pizza, not just an everything bagel, but a combination of both wrapped into one delicious package.

This recipe is especially good for those of you (you know who you are) who eat pizza for breakfast. I’m not one of those people, but if I were, I could see having this pizza for breakfast.

Variations

I topped my everything bagel pizza with tomatoes, vegan bacon, arugula, and green onions, but you could use the dough and cream cheese as a base and then add these toppings for a variation.

  • Jalapeno, vegan ham, and cheddar cheese
  • Eggy tofu scramble
  • Vegan lox and capers
  • Avocado and sprouts
  • Cucumber and tomato
